ISO used to announce changes in newsletters which updated the currently valid standard, and releasing new editions which comprise a consolidation of newsletter changes. As of July 2013, changes are published in the online catalogue of ISO only, india country code as per iso 3166 and no newsletters are published anymore. Past newsletters remain available through the search option on the ISO website. These, in turn, have subdivisions that are generically
called sub-districts, but that have different statuses by state.

Besides the officially assigned codes, code elements may be expanded by using either reserved codes or user-assigned codes. Many of the D&B Direct web services expect to receive a country code for the company specified by the D-U-N-S Number being requested. This input parameter is case-sensitive and must be supplied in upper case. On some requests, this parameter is optional; however, D&B recommends that it be provided to reduce the response time of the service(s) — including products limited to results for US companies. United States country code 3 digit is USA, and two-digit code is US, where as UN code of USA is 840 which is numeric.

Within this region the “1” is followed
by a NANPA 3-digit area code. Also, code “7” is assigned to a
large calling area including the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan. All
other countries and territories have their own 2-digit or 3-digit code.

They are called tahsils in many states, but they’re
development blocks in Tripura; C.D. There
are no tertiary divisions in Daman and Diu, or Dadra and Nagar Haveli; Chandigarh has no secondary or tertiary subdivisions. This is a list of all countries’ codes following ISO 3166 international standards with their respective currency. These codes are used throughout every industry, especially on online platforms and you can use these codes to quickly find any country and its currency. This list is provided as a reference tool to identify the A 2 code and region for any particular country or economy.

This is one of those situations where the answer
depends on precisely how you define “capital.” I will stick with Dispur until the situation changes. List now includes international dialing codes for making an overseas phone call or calling another country. We wish to convert between various identifiers that may loosely be defined as user input and ISO 3166 entities, there may be more than one way to do each conversion. For our examples we use Pakistan as the country and Balochistan (Pakistan) as the subdivision. By selecting a country, the system displays the entire UN/LOCODE list of Subdivisions.

This alphabetical list shows all countries and their corresponding two-letter country codes as per ISO 3166. ISO 3166 defines names, two and three letter codes and code numbers for all countries and six character codes (the two letter country code followed by a dash and a two or three character subdivision code) for all top level subdivisions. The Internet Assigned Numbers
Authority (IANA) assigns two-letter codes for country-coded
top-level domains in Internet addresses.

In the following table, Internet codes are from IANA’s Root-Zone
Whois Index. ISO 2-alpha codes are from the ISO 3166 Maintenance Agency,
English
country names and code elements. ISO 3-alpha codes are not posted to the
Internet by ISO; the codes shown are from the United Nations, Country
and Region Codes for Statistical Use, which also provided the numerical
codes. Some additional 3-alpha and numerical codes are taken from the CIA
Factbook Appendix D (Country Data Codes). Vehicle
codes are from the Transport Division
of the UN Economic Commission for Europe; I have omitted several vehicle codes
which appear to be obsolete because they refer to previous names of the territory
rather than the present name.
